I was about three years old when my Mom found me in the animal shelter. She kept saying she would know The One by "something in the eyes." I was scared and shy, but looked right into her eyes - and her heart - to let her know it was me. Now I have a good forever home and a special vest I wear to visit people in a hospital, a hospice, and an assisted living facility. They pet me and give me treats, and I try to look into their hearts, too, to make them feel better. It must work because they always smile when they see me coming.
